About Zombies Browser
Zombies Browser is an independent fan site for one question: how do I play Call of Duty-style zombies in a web browser? We point you to what works, explain how to get it running, and host the games we're allowed to host.
What's here
What we host and what we link to
We don't host Black Ops files. The Black Ops 1 zombies browser port is made and hosted by its developers at vel.gg; our pages explain how to set it up and fix its errors, and every Black Ops 1 link opens their site.
We host Nazi Zombies: Portable, an open-source remake of World at War zombies by the NZ:P Team, using their unmodified web build under GPL-2.0 and CC BY-SA 4.0, with full credits and source links.
The other games on /play/ pages come from GameMonetize, a distributor that licenses HTML5 games to websites.

How we work
How we check what we publish
We test it
Games on this site are loaded and tested before they're listed. Setup steps and error fixes come from the messages the games actually show.
We date it
Pages that describe something that can change, such as a port's status, show when we last checked it, and the homepage checks whether vel.gg is online every few minutes.
We cite it
When we report news, such as the takedown of the Black Ops 2 browser port, we link the original coverage so you can read it yourself.
